My neon blue goby won't eat!
I bought a neon blue goby from Jack's Aquarium about a month ago. Hearing these guys are herbivores I bought some green seaweed for him(did not like that the first ingredient in any algae wafers was fish meal...). I have yet to ever see him eat and it looks like he is getting thinner. Should I try algae wafers with him? Is there another food I can use? Thanks for your help!

Is this a Fresh or Salt water tank?

He's a freshwater tank but I do add salt to it (just over 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons). He'd been at Jack's for awhile before I bought him and they had no issues with him in their freshwater tanks.

Well Seaweed is a different plant than Algae. He is an algae eater and needs to be added to an established tank that has a good carpet of algae on rocks. If that is not available then algae disc may work. Try to overlook the first ingredient, or check a different brand.
He must be eating something but doesn't sound like he is getting much. Good luck. Keep us posted.
