Breeding only female Guppies

Hey Guys, I know this might be a strange question but i have had my 2 foot breeding tank for my guppies going bout 3 months and had about 30 or so babies and they are all females is that normal is there something in the water or am i just lucky? Is there a way to get males? or should the law of averages eventually give me males?

Cheers Brad

I dont know but i've heard that if you have a higher PH water you will get more males to female ratios. If you have a low PH you will Have More Femaes to males... This hasnt ever been scientifically proven either...

Bradley, give the fry some time. All newborn guppies are pretty colorless and look like females. As they mature you will notice that some take on th typical male characteristics including having the anal fin develop into a proper gonopodium. It is the same way with many of the livebearers where the newborns all look like females but the sex characteristics of the males can come as late as age 6 months.
