New fish ; need help identifying species

I was given a fish but I have no clue what species it is, neither did the lady that i got him from, all she knew was that he is a male..
sorry if i put this in the wrong area, im new and no idea where to post questions lol

Yah sailfin molly. a nice one too make sure you keep it in the right tank.they dont need a big one but you should have some things like plants(non real if you arent prepared for live ones) and tempeture regulation is a is it with most fish but you can click on the blue that says sailfin molly and read the profile and your on your way to a healthy fish and a good relationship with your fish

thanks for the tip. The lady that gave him to me said he was aggressive with her guppies so was a bit leary but thought i would try wiyh fish : 1 guppy, 2 tetras, 2 minnows, cray fish and pleco. I left him in the bag for a few hours to get used to them and since i let him out he's getting along fine with them!!

in the right inviorment the molly wont hurt the others. good luck.

almost looks like a balloon sail fin molly or just well fed lol
