Possible pregnant Neon.

I have a Neon Tetra that has a much larger belly than any of the others. Does anyone have picture of a pregnant Neon? I tried to take a pic of her but wouldn't sit still long enough to do so. I know its difficult to breed these but didn't know if it may have happened on accident. Any help is appreciated.

They are egg layers. I doubt it's pregnant;-) Mine often have large tummies with more white showing than others. I think it's food.

I agree. With caracins, the female will always appear rounder than the more slender male, especially if viewed from above.

Good to know Byron! I have seen that difference, didn't know it was related to gender.
