Marineland F30T8 Natural Daylight 36" Bulb - How many K?
So my new lighting hood came with 4 Marineland bulbs, which are marked F30T8 Natural Daylight.
I can't find the specs for the color temp (Kelvin?) anywhere. The Marineland site doesn't list them. I tried various google searches. Natural Daylight bulbs seem to vary from 5,000K to 6,500K.
Anyone know which these bulbs are?
Canadien, i googled it and I think I did find an answer: 6500K.
the f30t8 by ge stated that figure.
edit: do we really have to buy bulbs from aquarium manufacturers? I see the f30t8 in different places: 1000bulbs.com, home depot
I found bulbs labeled f30t8 ranging from 5,000k to 6,500k, though I didn't didn't find an exact rating for the Marineland ones. I think I need 6,700k but I'm really not sure about the bulbs, I'm a little out of my depth with the plants and lighting.
of a truth, so am I.
I have led fixtures. and most of the plants I have are low lights. anubias, swords. I try some out and I buy what survives.
I sent them an e-mail and they responded quickly. The bulbs are only 5200K.
