LOL...

All tanks have enclosed lids..Only two tanks have two heaters operating..I know what happened to the other two heaters...All operated with sponge filters...Two tanks at the top level have plants in them...Four tanks have woods in them..I see the Prime bottle in front of me..I see scissors and glass at the back of one of the tanks as well..More airlines and connectors as well..More cute water spots..That sums up my observation.

I tried to use fixture like that once, a few years back. The middle shelf decided it wanted to be a bottom shelf. I was lucky only one tank broke. lol I still use the fixture today, just not for tanks. Towels, siphons, meds, and supplies are the ONLY things on the shelves now. Oops. There are (2)empty 20g tanks on the bottom shelf.

Is there a store near you missing a mechandising fixture? Or did you go "dumpster diving" That's how I got mine.

yeah i would not use that shelf. we had a few of the same looking ones at my last job and it could not even hold a microwave.

but yeah i liked the comment "you know you are addicted when.."

Hah, interesting set-up. I wonder what they will look like as they mature.

mgamer20o0 02-11-2008 08:06 PM

there are different quality of the racks. these hold 625 pounds each. i am not even putting 400 pounds on them. mind you i have 3 others of the same kind thats been holding 20 longs for a while now.

I believe that mine were rated for 850# or 900#. I know I didn't have that much on them, maybe 650#. The rubber "bushing" just slipped off. Sometimes even the best laid plans go awry. I think it was a freak deal. I just don't need to use it now with the 2x wood racks I built in the fishroom. I know that they will never fall.
