What type of cory is this?
Sorry for the terrible quality picture, I'm hoping that you can still make out the design c:
I am wanting to buy more of these, but i'm not sure of the name because my sister bought them.
looks like a Sterba's Cory to me. I love these little guys they are so cute! I would do a google search to double check. It is a really good idea to get some more, they do like company.
Its not a C. sterbai. It would have orange/yellow pectoral and pelvic fins. Looks like a C trilineatus because of the black on the dorsal fin and the 3 strips near the caudal fin. I cant see in the picture if it has spots on the head or if they are squiggles; spots could mean it is one of the more rare species.
I agree, this is probably Corydoras trilineatus. Click the shaded name for the profile with a photo which may be easier for you to compare with.
This species is almost always sold by stores as C. julii, or the Julie or Julii Cory. The profile explains this mixup, and how to tell them apart.
It is the three line cory,
because i got them at petsmart.
