Are bubbles collecting normal for a new set-up?

Hey all,

I've just set up my new fish tank (today is day 2) and I've got loads of little bubbles forming around the inner walls of the tank and the filter intakes plus output.

Is this normal?

It's a 153 litre tank with 25Kg of little stone as substrate. 10Kg of the substrate was from my old tank which I did clean before putting into my new tank. I also made sure to clean the new lump of stone as well.

The filter that I'm using is an Eheim 2217 which is pumping 1000 litres per hour.

I've got the intake lower in the tank than the outbound pump so there is some current and ripples in the top but I'm not sure how much current is running through it.

I'm putting stress coat, stress zyme and fish food in the tank at the moment to cycle the water prior to putting any fish and plants in it.

Very common and they will soon clear.

That is absolutely normal for a new tank. They will clear in no time.
