Flu mist.... :/
 

So, while at the doctor the other day, my mom decided to have me get a flu shot. However, since I really don't like needles, I opted to get the flu mist instead. They gave us a sheet describing the flu mist. However I really only had time to read that it is a live culture.
Two days later and I now have a cold because of the flu mist. Apparently it's suppose to make you sick for a couple of days.
I really think we should have been informed by the nurse about this...
Anyway just needed to rant a bit :)

The flu shot can also give you a cold, it is basically a very mild version of what the experts think will be the most prevalent strain of flu for the season.

It is designed to build your immune system up to a level that should you get it, your body can fight it off.

I realize there is a chance the shot could even make you sick (I've been told that by the doctor a couple times) I guess an effective way to build my immune system up to it is to give me a mini case...
