Green Hedge. =/ Now how do i use it?
So, I saw this awesome bush like plant at me lfs, and it was called Green Hedge. I thought it would look awesome in LittleFingers 5.5. They had just gotten all new plants in and this one just caught my eye and i grabbed a bunch.
Turns out its not an aquatic plant at all! Like Mondo Grass!
So, im eturning it, and replacing it with another plant that is actually aquatic.
I go to take it out of the bucket i had it in, and a piece fell out of the bunch!
Im going to return the bunch, but keep the plant that fell out.
Im wondering how to plant this guy.
Ive tried researching, but all i get is that you shouldent have it in your aquarium, not how to actually use it! From what ive gathered, its roots like to be wet, but not the leaves.
Would a tupperware with sand on the bottom, filled with water, and the leaves of the hedge out of the water work? I have a few baby mystery snails id like to make a habitat for..
What would be the best indoor environment for it?
I think a deep container is best to keep the humidity up. Try a gallon jar with a little soil under the gravel, and water level halfway up the plant.
