Breeding Tank? Help?
 
I have a small 3 gallon tank, which houses a male guppy, 1.5 inches long, 2 ghost shrimp, and 2 horned nerite snails.

I have a pregnant platy and I figured her fry would have a much better chance of surviving in this smaller tank, and happier also, than if I left her in a breeder cup.

Now, Could anyone give me a estimate of how many of her fry would survive in there after she gives birth ?

I have 2 large plants, 1 small plant, and one medium sized stump that has two medium sized frilly fabric plants in there as cover and hiding.

if she was to have a big brood of say 25 i would say 21 may survive

feeding the platty 2-3 times a day will also help
