Snails from my Driftwood
I recently accquired driftwood not very long ago for my new tank (still cycling). I found that it came with 6 small snails that are now crusing all over my tank. Should I keep these guys in the tank or should I take them out? I'm going to my LFS today to buy 2 more pieces and maybe some plants.

What sort of snails are they? Snail populations can get way out of control, and I'd suggest removing as many as possible, especially if they're ramshorn snails - they'll make a real mess of your new plants.

i would just keep them they wouldnt hurt your tank any. and once you start to get fish in the tank they will become nice little snacks  what kind of fish are you getting anyway?
I think they might be ramshorns. So I should remove them?
I was also thinking about keeping them, and feeding them to my fish when the cycle is done (I plan on getting Tiger Barbs, a RTBS maybe, a BN pleco, and maybe cories). No 100% plans on fish yet.

Personally I would remove them Cody. As I said, they multiply rapidly, will destroy your plants and I'm not sure that the fish you're planning on would eat them.

would the barbs eat them? if you decide to keep them as snacks and your fish dont eat them then all you have to do is purchase a loach and within a week you will be snail free! after that you can return the loach to your lfs if you want.
Ok, I returned from my LFS about 30min ago with 2 new pieces of driftwood and 2 plants. I took all of the baby snails I saw on the 2 new pieces and disposed them. I have also taken out most of the snails in my tank. There is probably 1-5 left.
I will add my plants when I am sure all of them are gone.

this may sound like a dumb question  but what will they do to the plants? :?
They will eat the plants and some other things.
I think I have now gotten every snail out of my tank. I added my plants about 1hr 30min - 2hrs ago, and so far so good.
