Hello from Leon here from Kenticky Pt 2 :p
Hello everyone!

Figured I've shadow stalked the forums enough, I might as well make an introduction thread.
I've been keeping fish for about two years now, I had a 10-gal a for about two years with a Betta three neon tetra and a handful of ghost shrimp. Eventually after all my fishes finally died I decided to get another tank and try again.

This time I went with a 30 gallon tank. And yes it was mostly for a Betta at first.

Thus far I've gone with a Pompeii type setup, A roman column ruin bubblier, a small volcano bubblier in the middle a smaller ruin on the other side and a tiny ruin I tipped over and surrounded with plants that I hope will eventually overgrow it. :)

It's housed with a T8 light, 15w (unfortunately I cant find anything higher in wattage near my house or any cities nearby, I even went to lighting stores and was told that T8 bulbs are rare :( I've got only 0.5 watts per gallon atm.)

I'd planed to cover the floor of the tank with Dwarf Hairgrass, but since I cant find higher wattage lighting, I think that's next to impossible. Corkscrew Vellisneria dot the tank, and two Anubius Plants focus on the center, another species of plant is dotted around the place, but I cant for the life of me remember what it is. O.o

As well as one moss ball in the corner for the Betta (since I whole heartily distrust the Betta Hammocks) I few weeks ago I added a small floating Betta log that he seems to love as well :3

At the moment, in addition to said male Betta, his tankmates include 4 Neon Tettra's and two harlequin rasboras, and just today added 5 ghost shrimps. So far everyone gotten along fine, and after adding root tabs, in addition to the dosing of liquid C02 and plantfood, some of the plants have exploded a bit in growth (mostly Vellisneria, but after triming a dieing leaf off of the Anubius, I've noted about five new stems coming out of its base) :) The Betta seems to love these haha.
