If my LED's are sufficient enough to support my anemone,(Flame Tip Bubble Anemone), are they strong enough then to support a Crocea Clam (Tridacna crocea)?

Would really like to add one in the center of my tank on the sand bed.

I have never had luck with clams. They are filter feeders and even if the clam lives a while on photosynthesis, it eventually starts to starve from lack of phtyoplankton in the water column. JMO

Even with target feeding, I feel they need a continuous supply of phytoplankton. Again, just personal experience. I am not perfect and maybe someone will have luck where I didn't.

I target feed all my corals with Two Little Fishies ZoPlan and I also dose the entire tank with Azox Coral food. I turn all filters off, so there's no flow allowing the food to rear in the corals.

So I'm not too worried about it starving compared to adequate lighting.
