new member just looking for a little advice

Hi all. First time on site and I was hopeing someone might help me out with a couple things..ex.I have a 25 gallon salt water tank,,just started a couple days ago..leverls are just about right but I want to add some cc to my sand..is that possible and if so...how much would you recommend?

cc? or CUC

crushed coral..I have about an inch and a half to 2 inches of live sand across the bottom of the aquarium with 6 pounds of live rock..Im not sure what kinda fish Im going to get just yet ..but being I'm a beginner...I was told to start off with a cheaper fish until I get the hang of things.

i agree to the cheaper fish because if something goes wrong bing bang boom you've lost all your fish.

the whole point is to actually add the CC underneath the live sand if any at all. CC is harder for animals to shift and so you may have problems with pieces of food getting caught in the coral and the cc will need regular vacuuming. i advise to avoid it.

thank you for the help

It can also injure sand shifting animals!
