Bird enrichment? ?
 

I work in a pet shop and we hav a large bird section ranging from African grays to zebra finch I was just wundering if u know of any good enrichment idea ?? :):):)

well not really an expert but stuff like spinners, mirrors, treat cups?

My Aunt's bird really likes ripping up cardboard tubes and stuff like that. and anything with a bell. :)

Yeah, all the birds I know love bells. My friend's bird has a mirror. She loves to look at herself, and the mirror has beads on it that she plays with. Chew toys could work for some birds, I think.

ropes to climb on,swings.
treat cups that hide food,so the bird has to work for it's treat.

They make puzzles that that if the bird solves the puzzle it gets a treat.

umm i don't know if you know this or not(forgive me if you do)
some parrots especially african greys can be vary wary of new toys,
introduce them slowly and carefully,if possible show the birds first what you are
considering giving them.

You can make a swing for them and the mirrors also could help. They sometimes start pricking the mirrors.

I hav added a few rope ladders a coconut shell with holes in that I add food to and a couple more mirrors the birds love it :):):) thank you
