Is my peacock expecting?

Hiya,

I have a peacock chilid (unsure of the exact species) but I believe she is expecting and I wanted to confirm this. Here is a photo.

In the photo you can see how there is a lump in her lower mouth.

If she is expecting, she will not eat at all and stay away from the feeding area when the others are being fed.

Keep an eye on her throat area and you will notice it will get larger as the babies develop.

That's what I read. She is definitely not eating a lick and when she was with the rest of the cichlids she always stayed in the terracotta pot by herself during feeding time. I have since re-homed her to a 20G tank by herself until she spits out the little ones.

Thanks Taz!
