peppermint pleco L1030

hey just a question about peppermint plecos:
i have a 30 gallon long and i want to put a peppermint pleco in it. most sites say at leat a 55 gallon they only fish i hav that might cause some touble are 4 panda corys can i put this fish in my tank?
