Kribensis (Pelvicachromis pulcher)

I am looking to add two Kribensis to my 75 gallon tank with plants, driftwood and 22 fish. The fish consist of 5 danio's, 6 Albino catfish, 5 Platy's, 5 Otto's and 1 Betta. My water parameters match the requirements in the profile section.
Would I have success with either two males or two females or would I be better off with a mated pair. If a mated pair is suggested, I would most likely donate the young.
Who would you suggest to buy them from? I seen ad's for albino kribs but I am not sure about them. Your opinions please.

They should be fine in the tank but a mated pair would be better.

Have a look here for fish. They are all excellent quality and you will not be disappointed with them.

If the fish are not listed then you will be able to get them for you. The guy is an excellent seller.

I added a Krib to an established 29g, that had a male bolivian ram......... BIG mistake.

The Krib was such an evil bully, it harassed the poor ram from the second it got out of the net, and for the 4 days it stayed in my tank until I fished it out and returned it to the LFS.

Just thinking about it now makes my skin crawl. Such a nightmare.

If you go for Kribs, make sure they are young and used to one another, if you can get a true mating pair then great, but ensure they have somewhere to call their home when spawning as they will get territorial.

Other than that I read they are good community cichlids... not my experience but hey ho. Just whatever you do, do NOT add any other form of cichlid and DO NOT FEED THEM AFTER MIDNIGHT!

Good luck and god speed.

Thanks Both,
I am now cleaning a coconut shell for their caves. I will be placing my order shortly.
