Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid
 

I saw these on our fish profiles and I'm interested in learning more. I'm not sure how common they are or where I'd get some though. I have a 50 gallon "planted" Aquairum and I'm trying to figure out what kind of fish I want.

Liveaquaria.com had some a few week's ago.(south american cichlids)
Would read all I could find on apistogramma cichlid's and their care before I made purchase.
Most of these dwarf cichlid's require well established aquarium's and soft to neutral Water hardness.

Thanks I'll check that out. I have soft water so that's not an issue and my aquarium has been set up for years. The only difference is I'm just turning it into a planted aquarium
