300 w deep blue heater temp settings? I just bought a 300 w deep blue heater for my 75 gal freshwater tank. it will turn on but it did not come with instructions on how to set the temperature. |
Welcome to TFK forum.:-D I'm afraid I can't help you as i do not know anything about the heater you mention. But have you tried to find their website? They may have instructions, or a contact for questions. Byron. |

If there is no control knob, it could have an internal factory setting of say 78 deg F +/- 2 deg F. I have a few small Tetra heaters like that, but I suspect yours has a control on top??? Let us know and as Byron said, Welcome to TFK - you'll find it's a great place to learn and share. AD |
Welcome to the forum I am also not familiar with your heater. A quick check of the site reveals an email address provided for information. But as with all heaters you must follow good practice and check your water temperature after you have installed it. I have a heater that is six degrees hotter than the dial indicator shows on the unit. Six degrees is quite a bit when it comes to the comfort of your fish. |
