I have three betta fish, one which I've had for about two weeks, and just recently noticed that his fins look like there glued together. He used to swim around a lot and his fins were full, now he's at the bottom a lot and when he comes up to eat his fins dont fan out, they look like there glued shut. Is something wrong with him? what can I do?
If you could post as much information as you can using this stickie as a guide, people will be better able to help you.
ok well the only thing wrong with him that is visible is his fins being glued together (not fanned out) and he stays at the bottom most of time. He still comes up to eat and if I go close to the aquarium he starts swimming. I have a real plant in there (dont remember what kind) and a rock that he can swim through. The temp is 75F (which from what ive read might be a couple degrees to cold). Im feeding him Nutrafin Max betta fish flakes. Havent tested the water, I dont have anything to do that with right now. Id say the bowl he's in is around 1 gallon, which is probably also on the small side, my other bettas dont seem to mind it. He used to be very active, and just recently ive noticed the change (yesterday) so for two weeks he's seemed healthy.
