plant friendly cichilid? Are there plant friendly cichlids? I had an oscar that died a few month's ago and they are NOT plant friendly so I'm not getting another one. I'd like to be able to have a few cichlids in my fish tank (50 gallons). Are there any that are plant friendly and are not overly territorial? |
That really depends on what kind of plants you want to have. I have a handful of cichlids species and moss is all I can really keep. I'm sure others may have more to add. |
Agree, need to know what plants exactly you have before offering suggestions for fish. |

I have: Dwarf Sagittaria Riccia Fluitan Taiwan Moss Amazon Sword Leopard Valisneria I'm kind of interested in the cockatoo cichild. My water seems to be good from what I read. It's soft and thus has a lower PH |
You should b fine with dwarf cichlids, angelfish, discus |
Keyhole cichlid's might could work in 50 gal. They are not hard on plant's ,don't get too large, and get along in small groups. |
