Is planaria a match?
These things were in my filter last time I cleaned it. I'm pretty sure they function as decomposers in the ecosystem, breaking down larger things into smaller things. They do no harm.

yep. found it almost immediately after looking again. it's odd they are in my sump and not my display because i don't add anything to my sump.. i just cleaned it last night though; it was FILTHY. I don't mind the pest snails in there but i'm not a fan of seeing these.

Aww, they are cute!
If it was filthy that explains why they were in there.

lol i don't know about cute but as long as they aren't going to eat my fish i won't give them a salt bath i suppose. speaking of eating my fish.. it's lights out for the night and i just added 8 rummynose tetras to my tank.. of the last 5 i added 2 made it the first night and have been fine for a week and the others are in my senagalus' belly. i over fed him so i hope he is slower to snack on the poor dither fish now.. i like the shoal of 10
