Depending on temperature, gestation is about a month. Is she or isn't she? Put her in a 10 gallon tank, fill it with hornwort, and find out in a month!
IMO her abdomen appears distended, so I would assume, yes. Possibly ten days to two weeks away from delivery. I won't be offended if others disagree with me. I am always getting surprised by babies that appear when I think they shouldn't, and disappointed by babies that fail to appear when I think they should!

If it is a female livebearer, it is pregnant. Darned right!
I have noticed among my young platies that they seem extremely precocious: even 3/4 -grown females are all swimming around pregnant!

So, over the past few days I noticed fry have been in the tank because I unfortunately have found Dead fry from the fish eating them. Although I don't know if my swordtail is still pregnant or not, so I made a video of her because of my poor picture taking skills :s View My Video
