What are your thoughts on this filter? I'm thinking of getting one for my tank since my filter broke (whisper).
I use both the Marineland Penguin and Emperor filters. I love 'em.
I've had my Penguin 350 for about 5 months and so far it's been great.
i have 2 350's and 2 200's with no problems so far........cant beat them for the price...........
got to Petsmart.com and print out their online prices to bring to the store and get them pricematched............my 200's were $21.99 each and the 350's were $27.99 each..........
i've got 2 for my 75 gallon tank, with very nasty inhabitants and they do great.
I've got one of those, and I've had no problems with it, although I just got a small 80 GPH canister filter on sale for $19 on Drs. Foster & Smith and I'm LOVING it. It's awesome being able to customize the filter media.
I've got a penguin mini on a 10G. It works well enough, but the wheel doesn't really like to spin. Also, we left the cap off for a while and had a serious evaporation problem.
