Which filter to get?
 

ok so i found these 2 filters that i like i have on my 29gal. tank a aquaclear 50gal. So for my 2nd tank i wanted to go with a diff. filter so i could get to see which i like better,so i am not sure which one of these to get. Have you guys used one of these and what do you guys think of there performence?

i heard a lot of good things about those^^^^^^^

or do you guys have any suggestions? or should i get a reena smart filter but it is a little over priced for me lol

IME, Tetratech was a total waste ofmoney. I wound up givng away both of the ones I got with my tanks.

The Emporer would be a much better choice IMO.

To be honest, for HOB filters I won't likely buy anything but AquaClear. Never had a problem and the larger ones will give a ton of customizeability. SPonges, stars, rings, and whatever else you want to use. I will however buy at least one if not 2 sizes bigger than the recommended size just for the extra room to customize.

Thanks for that. The aquaclear is wut I am useing right now its a 50 gal but I also bought a extra on but its a 30gal. So I guess I'm going to go out and pick up another 50gal or maybe 70 but thanks for you advice....and I'm going to have a lot more questions lol
