90-gallon planted tank
I'm excited! I just picked up my new aquarium stand today.
It's still on the cardboard so that I can scoot it to its final resting place ... after I move the guppy tank out of the way...
That's my cat. lol...
The "tank spot" is a rectangular alcove with a southwest window. It gets full, direct sunlight on most days, from mid-morning to late afternoon.
I will be getting one part at a time over the next few weeks or months ...
- Some sort of canister filter, maybe eheim pro II
- Inline heater
- Pressurized CO2 (hopefully also inline to have the filter chop up the bubbles, with all equipment inside the stand, if I can figure that out)
- I have no idea yet how much supplemental lighting I will be using. The 15-gallon is growing awesome plants in this spot with just sunlight, and I like that simplicity. But for the 90-gallon it will depend on how much sunlight reaches the front of the tank, and what I want to put where. Even if sunlight is enough by itself I might also want some moonlight LEDs to view the tank after sunset. We will see.
Either that is one huge cat or the 90g isn't in the window yet.
haha no that is my 15-gallon tank ... it is just sitting in the spot where i want to put the new tank ... have to figure out where to put this little one before I can set up the new one :)
that's a nice stand the new tank will look great on there,
you could always give me the little tank
I don't know if you have a post about your 15 gallon tank but thats amazing I've been trying to find a way to the the tree affect and couldn't do it. Do you have any tips/what you used.
Edit: nvm, i just saw your other post.
