Ode to Corydoras I've just added 2 more peppered cories today after adding 5 a while back, and I have to say that seemed to have done quite a lot of good because they're immediately being much more social and active than before - they truly do appreciate being in larger groups. They're an absolute pleasure to watch, with their playful character and desire to constantly explore. They seem happy, and that makes me happy. I know it's not a particularly informative post, but I just felt the need to share. Edit: I mean it seems right now that they're... cuddling. Who ever told you fish aren't cuddly? Mine are. |
Delightful.:-D |
Snapped a movie as they were being adventurous and playful yesterday afternoon: |
Aww I was expecting some singing! ;-) Glad to see they are doing well. I don't have any cories, but I'd like to have some one day. They do look like a delight. Loaches also cuddle, too! Yay for cuddly fish! |
Nice video! Thanks for sharing. Your tank looks beautiful. |
Thanks dramaqueen! I can't help myself so I made another one, they do some nice synchronized maneuver practice here. |
Heheh. It's funny how obsessed with the glass they are at first. But they do stop eventually. o-o |
Yeay another convert! Yes, they are more active in larger groups. In the wild, they swim in huge schools so I never understand why some people suggest just 3 or 4. |
Hehe I just can't help myself. This is I think by far the best vid so far, where I get all 7 of them in the picture: |
awe! they're so darling! My bronze guys do that a lot too. I have five- but I think you convinced me to add more ^-^ |
