Are These Cardinal Tetra Eggs?
Do these look like cardinal tetra eggs to you. Their all over the sides of the tank and I couldn't think of anything else.
I think the eggs are all those white things in front of the gourami.
Do you mean the cluster of opaque "eggs" directly in front of the gourami, at the very bottom of the photo (which i think is on its side)? Looks like a cluster attached to the tank wall. If these were fish eggs, the fish would likely be eating them fast. Cardinal tetra spawn in plants and scatter the eggs, so if these are eggs thy are almost certainly not from the tetra. Is that gourami eating them, or guarding them, or ignoring them?
Yes those are what I'm talking about. I don't have a lot of plants for cardinal tetras to spawn but still you're right they probably aren't cardinal eggs. The gourami is ignoring them. Probably just dust or dirt or something. Thanks for the post.
P.S., yeah the photos on its side.
