Help with guppies...
I am in search of help with the guppies in my daughter's aquarium. We started it with 2 newts, and 5 feeder guppies with the impression that the newts would eat the guppies. We added a pleco and the guppies have multiplied and are out of control. I need something that will leave the adults alone but get rid of the babies... but it also needs to not harm the two newts. I have been reading about ghost shrimp but i am not sure if they will help maintain the population. How many would I need without overcrowding? This is only a 10 gallon tank. Please help!!!
All i can suggest is get a net and take them out, with any of the common livebarers they only have to swim past each other and there preagnant!!!!! Even if only as feeder fish you should have only gone for males or did your research to if they would be eaten 1st
