Identify

I have a long plant that looks almost like scallions, it came in a bunch and send shoots downs. Its about 10inchs tall and is green and turns lighter towards the roots. The people at the fish farm told me it was like water grass or somthing. Sorry no pics right now the plant wont come out right.[/list]

Well it is likely either mondo grass or some sort of Valisnaria.
