Prices on some catfish
 
i have a 12cm cuckoo catfish, a 16cm gold pleco and a 9cm striped doradid that i need to get rid of what are they exactly worth, im also thinking of trading them in at my local pet store, what kind of price would i get for each

The problem with turning fish over to the LFS is that you have no leverage to negotiate. They know you don't want the fish/can't keep the fish, so you will never get the value of the fish. You've seen Pawn Stars (or any other pawn store TV show)? Same thing. If you were to sell the fish to an end consumer, you would get a better price because you are selling it to someone that wants it. Selling it to the LFS means that they will have to house it and care for it until it's sold, and they are in business to turn a profit so that will be reflected in the price that they offer you....if they even offer you money.

so what kind of price am I estimatly looking at

Could be as low as $0. Could be like $20 in store credit. Could be $20. The price one is willing to pay is highly specific to the individual. I would be happy with store credit - you should get more in store credit than cash, if they offer you anything at all. I would ask for $40 in store credit.
