Dario Loach Bulling My Corys
I recently added a Dario loach to my tank to resolve a snail infestation. Now he tends to bully my peppered corys around. It does not appear that he is nipping them, they don't have any visible damage, but he does go up and pushes them around.
Is this normal behavior or should I look at relocating the loach. Even though he is to cool for school 8-)
I'd relocate him. I believe he's capable of killing the cories.

I got him at a local fish store, (not a chain store) and they said he should be fine. The snails are gone so maybe I should return him, he is really cool though but my corys are cooler :(
More bad advice from a fish store.
All loaches in the genus Botia are highly social fish, requiring a group of their own species (in a large enough tank to accommodate them, as this fish will attain 130mm (5 inches). As a lone fish, is is stressed and this frequently results in increased aggression.
If your tank is at minimum 4 feet in length, you could consider getting another 3 or 4 to build a small group. Otherwise, you should re-home the loach (return it).
This is another example of why no fish should be acquired to deal with an issue, like snails. Other problems usually follow.
This species is not yet in our profiles, so here is some info on it:

Thanks for the input, he needs a new home
