LED Moonlights
 

I hope I put this in the right place. I was thinking about maybe getting some LED moonlights for my tank what are your thoughts on them?

If the tank is freshwater then they are not really need. They are more for looks really. Saltwater they are actually used as part of the day/night cycle for corals etc but again not everyone uses them.

Personal choice if you want to get some or not.

No, the fish should have a period of total darkness, turn them off before you go to bed. leave them on for maybe an hour after your turn the main tank lights off.

Thanks! but no its not mine . I hope to get one like that after the tank is done cycling then I will change it to a picture of mine. I hope i can get a good colorful one but we will see:lol:

I really like my LED moonlights. I leave them on all night - in the wild, it's only for a few days a month (new moon) that the fish ever get total darkness.
