Question about substrate pellets

In my order from Aquariumplants.com I got a free sample of AquaFertz Total substrate pellet. I'm complaining about it (in fact my whole experience with them was very pleasant). I just switched the substrate in the tank, so it has little to no nutrients for the plants. I would like to use these, but I want to hear about personal experiences with this first. This tank has had some problems with algae before, and I'm hesitant to add almost anything to it.

The bottle I got is the small one with TOTAL on it.

Thought I should also add that I already dose weekly with flourish comprehensive.

I did a google search, came up with nothing at all. In fact, this post was the number one result =p Must be something new.

Are they just similar to something like the Flourish Root Tabs? I use those in all my tanks, with no issues. I place them next to Amazon Sword and Crypt plants, which are heavy root feeders. Nothing else should need them with your use of the liquid fertilizer.

No experience with this product. Checking the info on their website
AquariumPlants.com's own: SUBSTRATE VITALIZATION SYSTEM
I don't see any issues, but one can't be sure until one has used the product. From the ingredients, these appear similar to Seachem's Flourish Tabs; they recomend replacement monthly compared to Flourish Tabs every 3 months.

Thanks. Good to know they are like Flourish tabs because I have a few swords and plan to get crypts. I did look at the Aquariumplants website, but I just couldn't make heads or tails of the ingredients. I don't have a green thumb. =p I'll give these things a shot when I get back from vacation. I want to be there to monitor in case I get an algae bloom, and that's kinda hard to do with an ocean in between me and my tanks.

I actually tried the website on the bottle first, but it doesn't exist yet. This must be something really new. I'll be sure to let you guys know how these things go.
