Is this an anemone?
Here is a picture, I got the live rock yesterday and it had nothing and now it has this. IDK what it can be. Can anyone help? Also the other pic is of some tube things that have something sticking out, kinda hard to see but they are like tentecles and are white with red stripes. What is it?
First pic looks like a Mojano Anemone.
Second pic looks like tube worms. AKA, Feather Dusters. Filter feeders.
Agree on the second being feather dusters, I got a few pieces of live rock recently and within 3 days of them going in the tank, looked exactly like that.
Mine dont come out much as my shrimp keeps climbing all over them and making them shoot back inside the tubes :-)
Yeah I have another rock that has two big ones. One is all black the other is white with red stipes. Pretty cool. I hope that the can reproduce and make more.
