Fiddler Crab "Crabitat"
I just added a male and female Fiddler Crab to the new Crabitat I created for them. It has an underwater heater, heat lamps, a Waterfall filter, crushed Coral gravel in the water part and white beach sand on the land part. There is a cabin on the "Beach" and a glow in the dark cave underwater to hide out in. Plus a few extra things as you can see in the picture.
I still need to buy some plants to suction cup to the sides to give the crabs a better way to get in and out of the water better. Right now I just added a few sections of plastic Craft Mesh to clinb on. They really love the "Stairs" that I made for them, they use them the most to get in and out of the water LOL.
I love it! Best taken care of fiddler crabs I've ever seen and their home looks cozy xD
Those are some lucky fiddler crabs!
So adorable!! I love it..makes me want em!
Driftwood would work well for the 'stairs'... What's your salinity?
Have you tried giving them any plants? If you could find it, Saltwort would be great for the land area..
