Sick Mystery Snail

My blue mystery has been acting strange since getting busy with my golden mama. He mostly lays open with the edges of his foot curled under, as he doesn't seem to crawl anymore. Every once in a while a peach colored appendage pokes down between his eyes basically (Pretty sure it isn't his 'penis') They were in my fry tank, but now have a tank to themselves with their growing babies, water params have consistently checked out, as he is the only one experiencing symptoms. I have to nudge the food right under him in order to get him to eat, I don't know what to do

Oh no!
I recently lost my apple snail, and i believe mysteries are the same type, differnt name, so what i learned might help you!
Apparently apples arent meant for higher temperature aquariums, as the heat of the water increases their metabolism, and shortens their life expectancy! I had no idea!
Also, apples go into a 'dormant state' if they eat alot at once, or there is a change in tanks/water params. It could be he is just adjusting.
If you are really concerned, PM Chesherca, she knows all about snails!

You may have been right, maybe all that mating tired him into a dormant state LOL!
I just recently held him out of the water a few minutes to get him some air, put him back in
and is crawling around for the first time in I think a week! I hope he is alright now :-D
