Aquarium plant help crosspost
im looking to carpet my aquarium with some dwarf grass or something similar but i want to know if it will grow/spread/root first.
i have a planted sand aquarium 55* gallon
this is my light fixture
Deep Blue Solarmax 48." 108w T5HO Double Strip with 8 LED's
these are the lights i got for it

im looking for a co2 pump so any recommendations/ experience with this would be very helpful. i am going to my local fish store today to look at the selection they have
The lighting is more then enough for dwarf hair grass, almost too much so the only issues would be algae if your ferts and co2 aren't balanced, I haven't ventured into co2 yet but I have a mini fluval co2 system I plan on converting soon to be able to use larger tanks
ahh i see
Best fertilizer from the general consensus of this forum is seachem's flourish comprehensive fertilizer which is what the majority of us use including me use. This is a sample of my month old tank that i just took for you, I've only dosed twice so far
