Can anyone identify these baby snails?
I have hundreds of these baby snails and don't know what they are. They are either zebra snails or a snail that came with the plants.
They look like rams horn snails to me.
Yup. They do make a mess of the place.
Zebra nerite snails eggs you'd see- they're little white sesame seeds that eventually cover everything. But they don't hatch in freshwater.

They don't move like ramshorns, their shell is cocked to the side and I've never seen ramshorns breed that prolifically and their babies wouldn't have that many spirals on their shell so young. Usually they have barely a single spiral when born and its much broader
Lol send them my way, I could count the rams in my tank, always wanted a snail boom so I had a reason to buy a pea puffer in a nano tank. You guys are probably right but the development of the shell when they are so tiny isn't like the rams in my tank so maybe its simply different region of origin on the species.
They look exactly like mine. I put most of them in a jar, I feel bad killing them all. They all crawled out of the water and stayed above it. I shoved them back in one day and the next day they were all out of the water. Maybe it's time for a water change in the jar. xD
lol invest in loachs for every tank, that might be why I never have a snail boom
