I need help with my anachris
 
I have a hand full of anachris in my 10 gallon aquarium. The anachris looks sorta brownish. can i culoff the top part and replant them? Can I also trim them so it will grow back looking green again?

Yes, you can cut them down/back and if the conditions are right in the tank, it shouldgive off new sprouts pretty quickly. I usually pinch mine off...
Anacharis usually goes through a lot of temperature changes during shipping, and at certain times of the year it can get really bad, depending on where it's being shipped in from. Anacharis likes a fair amount of light 8 - 10 hrs/day, and can grow floating as well as planted. Anacharis, like hornwort, does not take up nutrients from planting roots in the gravel... instead it draws it all right from the water column. If nitrate levels get too high it will burn the plant and cause the brown burned appearance you are describing, so plenty of water changes can make it take off like crazy.
