Urgent Help - Parrot lying upside-down but moving
I have a 45 gallon tank, 5 yrs old, housing one angel, one jewel and four blood parrots.
One parrot has changed color to white 8 months ago. For last 30 days it lays by side of the tank, close to filter. Its lower fins(pelvic) do not move, while other fins are moving. It now lies upside down at the bottom of tank - alive. Occasionally, it tries to swim around the tank but is unable to stabilise itself and soon turns upside down. Recently, it is unable to come to surface for feed.
Tank Parameters: Temp - 32 deg. Cel.,
Background:In summers around 2 months back, the tank temp. rose to 37 deg cel and remained for around 30 days. Tank is cycled and 2/3rd water is changed every 14 days.
Pls help suggest treatment or any other procedure that needs to be followed to help save the beautiful fish.
Im so sorry but I think the guy is ganna die :-(
