ok so got a free tank today all glass but when i look up the size it comes back as 53 gallons and it dosent even say it comes as a fish tank.will it be reliable to use as a fish tank set up or what. dimensions are 48Lx15Wx17H
Looks fine to me, like a 50 gallon breeder - remember that you have to measure inside dimensions for mass and all the standard tanks are rounded numbers and the older tanks had different dimensions. As long as it is at least 1/4 to 3/8 glass and the silicon is sealed well you shouldn't have any problems
Sometimes silicone for terrariums cannot support a full tank of water. I'd test it out for several days. Posted via Mobile Device
