Ammonia and invertebrates
 

Does ammonia have the same affect on invertebrates as fish? Could crabs or ghost shrimp handle the cycling process of an aquarium?

Shrimp and crabs are actually considered more sensitive than fish.. They won't do well in a cycle. Besides I can't imagine shrimp giving off too much ammonia.
