Breeding Guppies/Ghost Shrimp/Mystery Snail?
I was wondering if it would be possible to breed Ghost Shrimp, Mystery Snails, and Guppies in the same ten gallon tank. I know some of the fry and eggs would not survive from the other eating them but as long as a few from each group would survive that would be good. I want them as feeders for my:
Black Ghost Knife
Green Treefrog (May not feed him any)
Gray Treefrog (May not feed him any)
I would think so but a soon as you see the fry and eggs take them out. My only concern is that you might over stock the tank with the guppies because once the start breeding they don`t stop. You should have a breeder tank and a seperate tank so you can store them after the are born or else you will have serious over crowding. The gourami might not eat the guppies unless he is agressive and the shrimp, snails, and guppies are small.
:fish:I have inherited a 75 gal tank. Right now I have two goldfish and thinking of adding more. SHould I get an algae eater? If so what kind works well with goldfish?
thank you but would the pleco suck off the goldfishes slime?
