Thoughts with anyone in CO Springs area!

Is there anyone on this site who is impacted by this Waldo fire? What a mess? Thoughts are with you and your pets! Yikes.

I live more in the parker area. It seems like the whole state is on fire though! I am not really directly influenced by any fires, but all you see when you look outside is giant plumes of smoke coming from numerous fires. It smells like smoke most mornings too. The news is FULL of stories of houses, schools, etc. burning down. Pretty sad. My heart goes out to anybody affected by the fires.

I was up in Pagosa Springs last week, and we could see lots of smoke from a fire that locals said had been burning since May 15th. You do have lots of fires in CO. I'm in New Mexico, and we've had one burning also. I'm not at all near that, but I just hate wildfires because of the destruction to wildlife and in the case of Colorado, so many homes. Very tragic.
