Heater for 45 gallon?

I'd like to know how you guys would hear a 45 gallon? What brand is best? Top fin? Fluval? Aqueon?
What wattage? I'm reading I should do two 100 watts then I read one 300 watt...
I really don't want to do two different heaters as I have limited plug space!
Should I go with a 200 watt?

If you don't have a lot of circulation in the tank, I personally would use two 100W to heat the tank equally. For example, I have a lot of flow in my 75 g, 4 ft long, and I am just using a single 300W at one end....

I would not recommend TopFin because the thermometer sucks and doesn't always show the correct temperature on it. I would recommend Marineland, a bunch of them have three ways to read the temperature, and come with a nice warranty.

If I put the heater right underneath the flow from the filter, that should circulate the heat, correct?
I do have air stones inbother parts of the tank to help..
