Emperor 400 and 35 Hex
 

Is the emperor 400 too wide to fit on a 35 hex, or, could someone with an emperor 400 filter measure how wide it is at the point where it hangs on the tank?

I could have swore I found somewhere online that gave the dimensions of the Emperor 400 but I can't seem to find it. Not sure what the dimensions of a 35 hex are. I have a Penguin 350 which is is very close in size to the Emperor 400 (dual bio wheels). It's 15" wide. You'll need about 4" clearance between the tank and the wall. Maybe someone with an Emperor 400 will chime in.

Thanks. The space between the tank and wall isn't an issue since this is in a corner. I just want the largest filter that will fit in the opening. I have a canister right now but its too much of a hassle to work with since there's so little space under the hex tank stand.

EDIT: I just measured, the opening is only 10.75" so I need to be even down below the 350 then. I'll see if I can find dimensions for one of the smaller filters.
