Apple snail in cold water tank?

Can an apple snail live in a cold water goldfish tank that averages 75 degrees? The water is very soft.

They can live but they'll be really lethargic in cooler water. Plus goldies like eating their feelers.
People do keep them together, but I think nerites would be more cold tolerant.
